British High Commissioner Presents Letters of Introduction to the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis.

Thursday 18 January, 2018 (Basseterre) – Her Excellency Ms. Janet Douglas CMG, the new British High Commissioner to Saint Kitts and Nevis on Thursday, January 18, 2018 presented her Letters of Introduction to Prime Minister, Hon. Dr. Timothy Harris. The Prime Minister welcomed the new High Commissioner and reflected on the longstanding relationship between the United Kingdom and Saint Kitts and Nevis.

Her Excellency is a career diplomat who has served in the diplomatic service over the past thirty (30) years in various capacities in the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office in Southern, Central and West Africa and Turkey. She is currently resident in Barbados to which she is accredited as well as the islands of the Eastern Caribbean, including St. Kitts and Nevis.

Her Excellency also paid courtesy calls on the Governor General, His Excellency Sir S. W. Tapley Seaton, Premier of Nevis and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hon. Mark Brantley, as well as the Leader of the Opposition, Hon. Dr. Denzil Douglas.
